Workshops
From Unemployed To Self-Employed was conceived originally as a workshop.
With input and advice from a number of business coaches and professional trainers, I quickly concluded that it would require at least one full day — perhaps two — to cover the volume of information required in order to help a person identify the best business for them, create a viable business model, and build an action plan.
Holding a workshop in New York City is not a cheap date. The venue, food, A/V setup, guest speakers, printed materials, promotional activities, marketing, and so on would cost a tremendous amount of money. In turn, I would need to charge at least several hundred dollars to each attendee.
Not just the expense to the participant, but the downside of the one-day or two-day workshop format was that I simply couldn’t cover all the material that I needed to… at least in the orderly and thorough manner that I do in the online lessons.
The other downside was that a single workshop could reach 50 to 70 people (that’s all that the workshop could handle logistically). With 14,500,000 people out of work who need to be making money, that didn’t seem to be an efficient or effective way to take the message to the world.
Suffice it to say, no workshops are scheduled at this time. However, I am now, always have been, and always will be an entrepreneur. That means I am always open to try something new… and definitely always willing to listen.
